Heavy grinding movements, especially when asleep at night, led to the excessive wear of Tom's teeth. When he came to us, he had a myriad of dental problems. Short, discolored and worn teeth. Excessive decay. Sensitivity to hot and cold temperature which made eating and drinking painful and difficult. First, we aimed at arresting the extensive progression of decay under Tom's gum line. We removed all of his old fillings and crowns, resurfacing each tooth using bacterial resistant bonded ceramics. We replaced missing teeth with high strength, fracture resistant, implant retained restorations. In keeping with proper anatomical tooth forms, we restored him to a more comfortable bite.
   
Today, Tom is a changed man. Not only is he able to eat and drink normally, he's also more eager to go out and face the world. With a smile as appealing as his, who wouldn't be?
