You always hear “Your smile is the first thing people see” and as I have gotten older this saying has proved to be a fact, especially if you belong to a profession that requires you to speak in front of people all day.  I’m a teacher at Le Conte Middle School.  Being a teacher has caught my attention to the fact that I’m always smiling to my audience, and having problems with my smile has always been an issue.  I have gone to many doctors since I have wanted to correct my smile for a very long time.  When you are always trying to find the best, it seems like you will never find the right doctor, but I got really lucky since for me the best was saved for last.  Sr. Bernie became my last resort.  His caring and attentive attitude really showed as soon as I walked into his office.  Not only does Dr. Bernie express a positive attitude, but all of his staff as well.  I felt like I was going to be in good hands.  Months passed and after what seemed forever from what I experienced the wait was worthwhile.  Sr. Bernie’s artistic creativity corrected my smile to the point where I don’t have to worry about my smile any longer.  Today I can say that I smile with confidence because I was placed in the hands of a great doctor who not only values his profession, but his patient’s well-being as well.
